George Mason and UMass meet for the fourth time in program history on Sunday and just the second in Amherst. Mason took the lone meeting in Amherst thus far, two seasons ago by a 91-80 decision.
Mason is coming off a tough overtime loss to Saint Louis on Wednesday, falling 79-77. Both Jalen Jenkins (18 points, 11 rebounds) and Shevon Thompson (10 points, 14 rebounds) posted double-doubles as five Patriots reached double-figure scoring numbers in the contest. The Patriots will look to get back to winning ways at UMass.
UMass enters the contest ending a two-game road swing, most recently falling at Fordham, 76-66. Trey Davis leads the Minutemen with a 19.2 points per game average. UMass is 7-6 overall at home this season, including a 2-4 mark in A-10 play.
