The George Mason lacrosse game against Georgetown originally scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Fairfax has been moved as a result of the recent winter storms. The Patriots (2-1, 0-0 A-10) and Hoyas (0-2, 0-0 Big East) will now face off at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Georgetown. The programs are meeting for the 12th time with Mason trailing the all-time series 0-11.
The Patriots (2-1, 0-0 A-10) are coming into the game on a two-game win streak following a 10-5 decision at Mount St. Mary's Wednesday. Jacquelyn Spalding leads Mason with 12 points on eight goals and four assists. Caitlin McGinn and Melissa Lobaccaro have contributed five goals each.
Georgetown is looking for its first win of the season following a loss at Delaware to open the season and a 11-7 home loss to Princeton on February 28. The Hoyas are led by Colleen Lovett and Caroline Tarzian with three goals each.
Mason continues its road swing with games at Furman and Wagner before returning home to face Liberty March 18 at 4 p.m.
