George Mason's home opener originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 25 against Mount St. Mary's has changed venues and will now be played at The Mount on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. in Emmitsburg, Md.
The Patriots are looking for their second straight win following a 9-5 victory at Campbell on Sunday. Sophomore Melissa Lobacarro leads Mason with six points on the season behind five goals, Caitlin McGinn is right behind her with five points on four goals.
The Mount is looking for its first win of the season after falling 5-4 at UMBC on Saturday. Sammie Knapp leads Mount St. Mary's with two points on as many goals.
Mason will now open their home slate Wednesday March 4th against Georgetown at 5 p.m.
