The George Mason men's basketball team seeks to avoid its first three-game losing skid since the 2009-10 season as it travels to rival James Madison on Saturday afternoon. The Patriots have won eight in a row against the Dukes, including a 68-57 win in Fairfax on January 15.
JMU has ascended to second place in the Colonial Athletic Association standings with a 7-3 record, having won their last four straight games. Most recently, the Dukes knocked off Hofstra, 62-41, at home on Thursday night. Three Dukes average double-figure scoring, led by Rayshawn Goins who chips in 13.8 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game.
Despite JMU leading the all-time series 49-44, Mason has won eight straight against the Dukes.
