The George Mason men's basketball team closes out the month of November and hits the road to take on the University of Rhode Island on Wednesday night. It is the second matchup between the two teams, after Mason won 92-90 in overtime last November in head coach Paul Hewitt's Patriots debut.

Rhode Island enters Wednesday's game with their first win of the season in hand, after a 78-72 double-overtime victory at Auburn on Sunday. The Rams are 1-5 overall, including an 0-2 mark at home. Xavier Munford leads the Rams offense, one of three players averaging double-figures with a team-high 17 points per game. Nikola Malesevic adds 15.6 points per game along with a team-best 6.2 rebounds per game.
