NEWS & NOTES
Coming off a convincing win at Longwood, the George Mason women's basketball team closes out this two-game homestand visiting Stony Brook for a Monday night matchup. The Patriots lead the all-time series 1-0 over the Seawolves.

Taleia Moton led the Patriots with a game-high 30 points at Longwood as Amber Easter added 16 and Rahneeka Saunders contributed 12. Moton leads the team on the season averaging 20.0 points per game followed by Easter with a 15.7 points per game average. Easter also leads the team on the glass with an 8.7 rebounds per game average.

Stony Brook is coming off a 52-48 setback at Iona on Friday night and open its home slate Monday welcoming the Patriots. The Seawolves are paced in scoring by Whitney Davis who boasts an 11.5 points per game average. On the glass, Stony Brook is led by Destiny Jacobs with an 8.5 rebounds per game average.SB opened its season falling at Fairfield.
