The George Mason lacrosse team welcomes the American Eagles
to George Mason Stadium on Tuesday in the rescheduled matchup from earlier this
season. The Patriots are coming off their Colonial Athletic Association opener,
falling to No. 10 James Madison Saturday night. Mason is led in scoring by Emily
Ellisen with 19 goals on the season, while Madalyn Jamison
and Chelsea Gamble
both
lead the team with five assists. Caitlin Hoffen
paces the team with 10 caused
turnovers and Brittany Pastrana
owns 21 ground balls. American is coming off a
13-6 loss at Lehigh which snapped a two-game win streak for the Eagles. Samantha
Marshall leads AU with 22 goals and 24 ground balls, while Kimberly Collins owns
14 goals and 12 assists.
