Vanderbilt's John Ebert shot 70-70=140 (-2) on Monday to take a two-stroke lead at the inaugural Duke Coca-Cola Individual Collegiate. Ebert was the only one in the 63-player field to post under-par scores in each of the first two rounds at the par 71 6,961 yard Duke University Golf Club.

The Patriots were led on day one by Branson Real with a 13-over par two round score. Josh Apple and Silas Vansky both carded 81-76 in their two rounds to stand tied for 46th.
