The Patriots look to extend the lead in the Revolutionary Rivalry at George Washington, Friday at 4 p.m.  Mason currently holds an 8-6 lead in the rivalry that spans all sports which the Patriots competed in the Atlantic 10.

Both squads are coming off back-to-back conference losses to No. 10 UMass and Richmond. With a win Mason (7-6, 1-3 A-10) holds on to hope to become one of four teams to make it to the Atlantic 10 tournament, they are currently a game behind LaSalle for the fourth spot. Senior Rachel Obregon leads the Green and Gold with 40 points behind 29 goals and 11 assists followed by Katie Mascolo with 26 points behind 23 goals.

George Washington (5-8, 1-3 A-10) is led by Jamie Bumgardener with 55 points behind 24 goals and 31 assists followed by Rachel Mia with 27 goals and 28 points.

Up next, the Patriots return home to host Saint Joseph’s Friday April 25th and La Salle Sunday  the 27th for senior day.
