The Patriots (7-4, 1-1 A-10) continue conference play at Richmond (7-4, 2-0 A-10) Friday at 1 p.m. in the 10th meeting between the in-state and conference foes. Mason holds a narrow 5-4 series lead over the Spiders, though the last meeting was a 13-9 Patriot loss on April 10, 2001.

Mason is looking to bounce back from Sunday’s 21-13 loss to Duquesne and surpass Richmond for third place in the current A-10 standing. Senior Rachel Obregon’s 38 points leads the Patriots on the season with 28 goals and 10 assists, the Fairfax Station native also leads scoring in conference play with 11 points (7 goals, 4 assists).  

The Spiders are led by Emily Doyle with 42 points on the season on 18 goals and 24 assists, though they also get offensive help from  Charlett Stevenson with 20 goals and Hayley Ross with 18 goals and two assists.
