NEWS & NOTES
The George Mason women's soccer team continues this season-opening homestand welcoming former conference foe William & Mary Sunday at 7 p.m. The old CAA foes will meet for the 38th time in program history Sunday.

Mason is coming off a season-opening loss against Loyola Friday night, falling 2-0 to the Greyhounds. Erin Mitchell led the Patriots with four shots, putting one on goal.

The Tribe open the 2014 season against the Patriots on Sunday after playing two scrimmages in preseason action. William & Mary took both scrimmages over Pittsburgh and Radford. Five of the Tribe's top six scorers from the 2013 season return to the 2014 squad including top scorer Emory Camper.
