NEWS & NOTES
The George Mason women's basketball team opens a two-game homestand Tuesday night welcoming Old Dominion to the Patriot Center for the 22nd time in program history. Tip for the 52nd meeting between the programs is set for 7 p.m.

Mason is coming off an overtime loss at Hofstra, while ODU picked up its second straight win on Sunday, defeating UNCW. Senior Rahneeka Saunders leads Mason with an 11.9 points per game avearge, while classmate Amber Easter pulls down a team-best 6.7 rebounds per game.

ODU defeated both Drexel and UNCW at home to improve to 6-3 in the league. The Lady Monarchs are paced in scoring by Jackie Cook and Shae Kelley with 13.8 and 12.5 points per game averages, respectively. Kelley averages a team-high 9.2 rebounds per game to lead the team.
