The George Mason men’s basketball team meets up with longtime Colonial Athletic Association rival Old Dominion for the final time as conference foes as the Patriots travel to Norfolk. Mason has won four in a row against ODU, who moves to Conference USA next season and will not play in the CAA Championship in March.

Old Dominion is seeking to snap a 10-game winless streak and pick up its first win of the conference season against the Patriots, as the last ODU victory came in the Governor’s Holiday Hoops Classic, a 63-61 triumph over Virginia on Dec. 22. The Monarchs are led by DeShawn Painter, the lone scorer in double figures at 11.8 points per game along with a team-high 8.2 rebounds per contest. ODU is getting outscored on average by 8.5 points per game (and more than 11 points in conference play) but outrebounding its opponents by nearly four boards per game this season.

ODU leads the all-time series, 34-20.
