The George Mason men’s basketball team opens a stretch of four out of five games away from home beginning Wednesday night when the Patriots travel to Towson. The Tigers, who are in second place in the CAA standings, have not defeated the Patriots since joining the CAA 12 seasons ago and the last Tiger win came on January 6, 1992, a 78-71 victory in Towson.

Towson has been powered by Jerrelle Benimon who averages a double-double of 17 points and 11.7 rebounds per game along with team highs of 50 assists and 40 blocks. The Tigers snapped a two-game win streak on Monday with the 71-69 home loss to Georgia State.

Mason leads the all-time series 31-8.
