The George Mason men’s basketball teams looks to close out a brief homestand with a 2-0 record as it hosts Hofstra on Saturday evening in a nationally-televised matchup. The Patriots have defended their home court well of late against the Pride, winning the last three matchups in Fairfax between the two teams.
Hofstra is coming off a 65-60 loss on Wednesday night at CAA leader Northeastern, which moved the Pride’s record to 2-2 in conference and 5-12 overall. The Pride, who have been outscored by nearly nine points on average this year per game, feature four double-figure scorers led by 14.3 points per game from Taran Buie.
