Playing its third game in six days, the George Mason men’s basketball team opens a two-game homestand with rival James Madison visiting the Patriot Center Tuesday night. Mason is looking to win its eighth straight against the Dukes, who have not won in Fairfax since February 22, 2003.

JMU sits third in the Colonial Athletic Association standings with a 3-1 mark in conference play and 9-8 record overall, and the Dukes are riding a two-game winning streak. Most recently, JMU knocked off preseason CAA favorite Drexel, 51-43, in Harrisonburg on Saturday evening.  Three Dukes average double-figure scoring, led by Rayshawn Goins who chips in 15 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game.

The Dukes lead the all-time series, 49-43.
