The George Mason women's basketball takes a brief break from playing at home to visit Hofstra for a midweek matchup on Thursday. Mason and Hofstra close out the regular season against each other as the Pride took the first meeting between the programs earlier this month in Fairfax.

Hofstra is coming off an 85-62 loss at James Madison to move to 4-2 in CAA play this season. The Pride boast a 6-2 overall record at home this season, including a perfect 3-0 mark in conference play. Shante Evans leads Hofstra on the season averaging a double-double of 16.6 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game.
