Recent George Mason graduate, Joyous Tharrington will take basketball abroad as the Lynchburg, Va., native is set to take a trip to Ukraine this month with Athletes in Action.

George Mason will host eight Atlantic 10 Conference opponents in the Patriot Center in the upcoming season as the conference office released on Thursday the 2013-14 women's basketball schedule pairings.

George Mason women's basketball head coach Nyla Milleson and the Patriots are set to host the 2013 Nyla Milleson Basketball Camp this summer. The Patriots will host two sessions of both the Fundamental Day Camp and the Elite Camp.

Senior forward on the George Mason women's basketball team, Joyous Tharrington was inspired by a women and gender studies course she enrolled in last fall to take part in a season-long toiletry drive.

First-year head coach Nyla Milleson completed her staff with the addition of Dionnah Jackson as an assistant coach for women's basketball. Jackson has spent the past three seasons at Southeast Missouri State in the same capacity.
