The Women's tennis team hosted Howard on Wednesday on another cold blistery day. The Bison proved to be too much for the Patriots as they fell 2-5. Mason drops to 7-10 on the season.

The Patriots won the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Mason's top team of Ashley Delaney and Brittany Pilkington defeated the Bison duo of Stokes and Johnson, 8-6. Esu Erdenebat and Kate Disiantnikova won 8-4.

Howard swept throught the first five singles matches for the win. Only one match went three sets, at No. 2 singles. Pilkington lost in a hard fought battle, 5-7, 7-5, 9-11 to Howards's Umarah Mughnee.

The Patriots will host Hofstra for senior day on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am.
